Morpho menelaus

The Morpho Menelaus, a butterfly species, underwent mutation in the post-terraformed Martian environment. The effects of the mutations on the species are yet to be fully understood, but it is speculated that the thinner atmosphere and lower gravity of the planet caused changes in the butterflies' wings and overall physiology. The mutated butterflies will serve as an interesting subject for scientists to study and learn about the effects of living in an altered environment.
